UTP Hub
DJ's are known to drag as much DJ equipment with them as they can. Often only a little is really used to form a DJ set. However connecting all the DJ equipment remains essential. A UTP Hub offers the solution to get the most out of all the DJ equipment.
When is a UTP hub needed?
Next to the power supply, Pioneer DJ gear has it's own protocol to connect each professional DJ device. This protocol makes it's possible to link individual pieces of equipment and making the music library available from one device to the next. The
XDJ-700,
CDJ-3000 and
DJM-900NXS2 are equipped with an ethernet connection. With this link functionality, you can play files on all the units via ONE USB stick. This eliminates the need to copy all of your USB sticks.
Do you want to link even more DJM mixers or CDJs? Then you will need to hook up your units to a UTP hub.
Linking Media Players
Are you looking to link more than 2 Pioneer players to each other. In that case you will be needing this UTP hub. The only thing you need to do is connect the players via ethernet cables with the hub and all devices are linked.
Linking a Mixer
Do you have or rented a
Pioneer DJM-900 Nexus 2 mixer? In that case you can integrate the mixer into the set, by also linking up the mixer to the UTP Hub. This enables the mixer to take over the speed of the player when using the effects. Your effects are automatically synced. In combination with the CDJ-3000 Nexus player, you can also use the 'on air' functionality. This makes the jogwheel of player that is live turn red.
