The Allen & Heath Xone 92 mixer is a very in demand DJ mixer in the club and techno scene. This unit has proven itself many times over the years within this scene.

Popularity 

The popularity of this mixer is mainly thanks to it's incredible sound. Mixers of Allen & Heath have always been known for their perfect sound quality. Allen & Heath has a different philosophy than it's Pioneer DJM opponents. The Xone 92 does not offer an effect section, whereas the Pioneer mixers are known for this feature. The Xone 92 mixer however has sublime filters. These filters can be dedicated to specific channels.

Layout 

Compared to the Pioneer mixers, this mixer does not have a 3-part but 4-part equalising module. This broadens the opportunities for the mixing of club and techno music. Due to it's long solid faders and robust rotary knobs a unique sound can be created. Next to this you have plenty of options to connect external effect equipment or microphones. There are 2 separate audio inputs available for connecting all types of audio equipment. So even if the Xone 92 does not have your favourite effects on board, you can easily connect an external MIDI device to add this to the mix.

DJ Set 

The Allen & Heath Xone 92 can be used in combination with the Pioneer CDJ player or Technics turntable. You can program each channel to a phono or line signal. The Xone 92 also has many other convenient features, such as a double headphone input (for back to back DJ sets), double microphone input including a fader and a large arsenal of connection options on the back of the mixer.
