CAT5 20 metres
A wireless network or a wired internet connection? Both options have their advantages and disadvantages. For example, a wireless internet connection is excellent when you are expecting a large audience. You can easily connect laptops and smartphones to the wireless network, meaning that you are not bound to one location. Excellent coverage is an important condition, but is not always guaranteed. You can also opt for a wired internet connection. These are much more reliable because they are less hampered by external factors. In addition, the connection speed is much higher. Because of these advantages, we often choose wired connections for our audiovisual products. In order to make use of a wired connection, we use a CAT5 network cable.
CAT5 Properties
Are you going to connect this CAT5 cable, also known as CAT5e, to a fixed network or an audio-visual device? This can be done quite easily using the RJ-45 connectors. With a simple click, the connector is firmly attached to the keystone module. This significantly reduces the chances of accidentally pulling the cable loose. There is a small tab on each connector so you can easily disconnect the cable again. This network cable is equipped with 8 thin cores. This makes the cable very vulnerable, meaning that caution is of the utmost importance.
Use
We always deliver cables to our clients clean and coiled. This is made possible by, among other things, the use of coloured cable ties. The colours of the cable ties indicate the length of each cable. This 20 metre long network cable is equipped with a green cable tie. When you return the materials, we expect our cables to returned to us in the same condition as when we handed them over to you. If we have to rewind or clean the cables, we have no choice but to charge you extra.
Is a 20 metre cable a bit excessive for what you have in mind? We can also provide you with
3,
5 or
10 metre long cables.
