LED Wall P3.9 (per m2)
Maybe you remember the days when presentations were done with a slide projector. Constant hassle with light and visibility of the presentation. A lot has changed since those days. Nowadays, everything is digital and you hardly need to worry about the visibility of your presentation. However, today's possibilities also present new challenges. The perception factor has become a great asset. In a society in which events take place on almost every street corner, you have to really stand out to create a lasting impression. Fortunately, this is definitely possible nowadays, especially with the help of digital décor.
LED Wall
When using TV screens, video walls or projector screens, you’re bound to the dimensions of the screen. However, an LED wall can be set up completely according to your own wishes. An LED wall is made up of various panels measuring 50 x 50 cm. These panels connect seamlessly to each other, allowing you to create a very large screen. Integrating your screen with the stage or the convention’s décor is a piece of cake.
Pitch
Have you decided what size of screen is right for your event? There are also decisions to be made regarding the pitch. Unlike TV screens and beamers, when using a LED wall you also have to deal with the pixel distance. This pitch or pixel spacing is the distance between the individual pixels. This determines the distance from which the human eye can no longer distinguish the individual pixels. This LED wall has a pitch of 3.9. This means that the light points are positioned 3.9 mm apart. From about 4 metres away from the screen, the individual pixels are indistinguishable.
This may make it seem like a lower pitch (i.e. smaller distance between the pixels) is always better, but this isn't the case. A lower pitch means more pixels, which in turn means a more expensive screen. Not only are the panels more expensive, but more equipment is often needed to control more pixels as well. The pitch is only determined by the people closest to the screen. This distance is paramount. At a larger distance, visitors will not see the difference between a low or high pitch. The details of a lower pitch aren’t visible to the naked eye from great distances.
Costs Digital Decor
Since digital decor doesn’t have a fixed size, it's difficult to come up with an accurate price estimate. The dimensions are determined according to your wishes, which affects the amount of materials and the price. In order to come up with a quick estimate, use the square metre price listed on this page. This allows you to include a rough estimate of the costs in your budgeting. The price of this LED wall assumes that you will make use of upright installation. The package includes a controller. Depending on the possibilities on location (such as power and logistics) and your wishes with regard to displaying content, the price can vary.
