GreenGo Intercom (6 pieces)
A presentation, conference or seminar usually require a lot of cues. During such an event, the director in constant contact with all the show crew. A heads up for the sound engineer because of a change of speakers. A cue for the video engineer to start a certain video. How about changing the lighting when a guru’s about to be introduced? These are all things that a director constantly monitors during a conference. This person is in contact - for example via a GreenGo intercom - with everybody involved with the organization of the event.
GreenGo Intercom
Unlike the old-fashioned analogue intercom systems, this GreenGo system works using an Ethernet network. It is
not necessary to have a base station, which serves as the heart of the system. Since it’s wireless, you could say that the base is in the airwaves. All components have the complete configuration, but only use small parts of it. Based on this technology, it’s impossibly for the entire system to fail, unlike the old analogue systems.
In the past, comms were almost always limited in the number of available lines. Many systems were equipped with a maximum of 2 lines, which made it impossible to sort the show crew by their various fields. Show crews often had to be put together in a group, meaning that everyone on the line would end up hearing a lot of information which is essentially useless for them.
Digital
Analogue? GreenGo wasn’t having any of that. Their systems are fully digital and work using an Ethernet network. Since this set is completely wireless and does not have a base station, you could say that the information hangs in the air.
The two lines offered by an analogue system are a joke compared to GreenGo. This system offers no fewer than 32 channels (which are essentially the same as old-fashioned lines). These channels can also be arranged flexibly. For example, a group can be assigned to each channel. You can then add specific technicians to those groups. For example, you can add the front of house tech, the monitor tech and the transmitter tech to the audio group. This allows all sound related technicians to be in contact with each other, but also allows the director to give cues for audio more specifically to the right technicians. Is a certain cue intended for audio, light and video? Simple, then the director simply activates all 3 groups, so the cue reaches all these technicians.
It is also possible to connect directly to a specific user. Creating a group is not needed for this- just a secure connection, no eavesdropping possible! This is often used for discreet direct communication between 2 people.
Wireless
A number of buttons are positioned on the device, the most important of which are located around a bright colour display. On this display information can be shown about channels and groups, but you can also adjust settings.
The 4 buttons around the display give you direct access to the most important groups or people during a conference. These can of course be set up completely according to your wishes. The other channels are available via the 2 buttons on the side of the belt pack. These buttons can also be adjusted as desired. For example, it’s possible to set one of the knobs to control the volume of the headphones. The other knob can be set to give you access to the other channels (which you need less often). You can set up this belt pack any way you want. The possibilities are endless.
Antenna
Since the call packs are fully wireless, this communication equipment needs to use antennae to transmit and receive messages. One antenna can connect to up to 4 wireless belt packs. This set contains a total of 6 call packs and therefore 2 antennae are included. Keep in mind that not all belt packs can be connected to the same antenna.
The range of the wireless belt packs may be insufficient for conferences taking place in multiple rooms. A belt pack can therefore be connected to a maximum of 4 antennas. This allows a very large area to be provided with a full coverage range. You may need even more antennae for this setup. Please contact us for more possibilities.
Batteries
The use of batteries in the wireless call packs is ideal. It gives a lot of freedom of movement and makes this communication system very easy to implement. However, you don't want to end up with an empty battery halfway through the show, which is why 2 batteries are supplied standard with each belt pack. This means that you can change batteries right away, and just get on with the show.
The empty battery can be recharged in the supplied battery charger. The battery will be recharged by the time the battery in your belt pack starts running low.
