Remote Camera Set 2
Time is money. Everyone is busy and nobody really has time to be at a certain location in person. Travelling to and from locations just takes too much time and effort. This is why you’re seeing more and more events and presentations being hosted online. This means that everyone can attend the online convention or seminar from a location of their own choice. It’s even possible to make presentations available after they’re held, so that participants who couldn’t be online at the moment the presentation was given can still enjoy it. But how can you do all of this without cameras? The answer is pretty simple: you can’t. Read on to find out how this PTZ camera set will help you get your online event off the ground.
Panasonic Remote PTZ Camera
This set includes three cameras, but not just any cameras. Only the best is good enough. That’s why we are making use of Panasonic’s newest top model, the
AW-UE150. These are the only 4K integrated PTZ cameras presently available on the market. No other brand is able to deliver this kind of video quality from a remotely controlled camera. We’ll tell you more about that later.
PTZ is a term that perhaps not everyone is familiar with. PTZ is an acronym which stands for the functions this camera has. P stands for pan, which is the left to right motion the camera makes. T stands for tilt, which refers to the vertical axis, meaning the upwards and downwards motions the camera makes. Z stands for zoom, which is the function which allows for close ups as well as wide shots with the same camera. The advantage of PTZ cameras is that they can be controlled remotely by a technician. The camera is standalone and does not need to be controlled by someone standing right next to it. This saves studio space. A technician can even control multiple cameras at the same time. This means that fewer technicians are needed, which ends up saving a lot of money. This means that you’ll be able to make multi-cam productions without breaking the bank.
We’d like to say a bit more about the video quality of the remote cameras that come in this set. What makes the image quality so good? This has to do with a new type of sensor combined with the 4K/UHD output resolution. The new type of sensor makes it possible to create very detailed images with less image noise. This in combination with the higher resolution leads to stunning image quality. This PTZ camera also has HDR support, making colours more true to life. You’ll no longer have to spend time searching for the sweet spot between over and underexposed. Another great feature of this camera is it’s enormous wide angle lens, which is a huge 75,1 degrees. With this angle and its 20x optical zoom, you’ll never have to compromise when it comes up to wide and close up shots.
Remote PTZ Camera Controller
It’s inevitable that when you introduce a new camera that you also have to offer a new control panel. The
AW-RP150 was released at the same time that the AW-UE150 4K PTZ camera became available. A new control panel with totally modern features.
The most obvious thing we noticed when this control panel was released was the huge touch screen on top of the control. This is ideal, as it provides more overview, more data and more ease of use for the technician. The other important new feature is the joystick. This is a larger version than the one found on this controller’s predecessors; it also has a rocker on the back with which it’s possible to control pan, tilt and zoom or focus all at once. This makes it possible to control multiple cameras single-handedly. More important functions have been prioritised and are easy to control with an actual button. It’s now possible to adjust the speed of the pant, tilt, zoom and focus without having to go through loads of menus.
Live Stream
PTZ cameras are swiftly becoming an industry staple, as the quality and reliability continues to improve. They’re used for TV, events and live streams. This type of camera was previously only used in hard to reach areas and for filming big reality shows, but nowadays they compete with the best broadcast cameras.
