Remote Camera Set 3
It’s hard to imagine the industry as it exists today without thinking of live streams. They make it so easy to make your event accessible to an audience which isn’t able to attend in person. Maybe your location is too small? Or perhaps you’re expecting a large number of foreign audience members who might not be able to get to your event’s location? But how do you set up a live stream so it works really well? It all starts with choosing the right cameras. Since only the best is good enough, we offer this big 4K remote camera set.
Panasonic Remote PTZ Camera
The remote camera set doesn’t come with just any quartet of cameras. Obviously, only the best will do, which is why all of our sets come with Panasonic’s newest flagship model, the
AW-UE150. The first and only 4K integrated PTZ camera on the market. No other brand is able to integrate this image quality into a reliable remote camera- but more on that later.
‘I’ve been hearing a lot about PTZ cameras recently, but why are they so popular and what does it actually mean?’ We often hear these questions. PTZ is an acronym which stands for the integrated control possibilities this camera offers. P stands for pan, which is the left to right swivel of the camera. T stands for tilt, which is the same as pan, but on the vertical axis. Z stands for zoom. These cameras are so popular partly due to how easy they are to use. These cameras can be controlled remotely, thanks to their integrated PTZ. This means that the camera operator doesn’t actually have to stand next to the camera. What’s more, the camera operator can control multiple cameras at the same time, meaning that you will have to pay fewer personnel. This saves a lot of money. This makes it possible to create quite affordable multi-cam live streams.
We mentioned how great the image quality of these remote cameras is. Why are they able to produce such amazing images? This has partly to do with the 4K/UHD signals this camera sends. More pixels means better quality. The cameras also have a new 1 inch MOS sensor which further improves the quality. This makes the camera more sensitive, whilst also reducing image noise. These cameras also support HDR, which makes images and colours come to life. Crystal clear colours and less time searching for the fine line between over and underexposed. Vague images are a thing of the past. But wait- there’s more! This camera, when completely zoomed out, has a whopping 75.1 degree angle. This is wide to the extreme. By using the optical zoom, however, it’s possible to make beautiful close up shots as well. There’s no longer any need to compromise on image quality for either extremes any more.
Remote PTZ Camera Controller
Obviously, when a new camera is brought onto the market a new controller needs to come with it. At the same time that the AW-UE150 4K PTZ camera was launched, the
AW-RP150 became available as well. A new PTZ camera controller with all of the technology one expects in this day and age.
The most obvious new feature of this control panel is the massive touchscreen on top of it. This is ideal as it provides the technician with more data, overview and ease of use. The joystick has also been completely revised- it’s now much larger and also boasts a rocker on the back. This rocker can be used however you like. You can use it for focus or zoom, which means that it’s possible to control pan, tilt, zoom or focus both simultaneously and single-handedly. This opens up a world of possibilities. What’s more, Panasonic have drawn on past experience to prioritise all of the most important features. That’s why this controller now has direct buttons for adjusting the pan, tilt, zoom and focus speed. These settings are now all accessible quickly and easily, without having to scroll through any long menus.
Live Stream
PTZ cameras have been developed and improved upon so much that they are quickly becoming an industry staple. Not only for events, but also for live streams and TV. Remote PTZ cameras have definitely taken over the industry. These cameras were previously only used for remote locations or on TV shows such as Big Brother. Nowadays, these cameras are competing with big broadcast cameras.
