Pipe & drape is mostly known for creating backdrops or room dividers. However there is more to these product then you may think. For example, if you don't use a drape, you can use the hardware to suspend art, decorations or a personalised banner.

Pipe & Drape Stand

If you don't connect the uprights with drape supports, you will have individual pipe & drape totems. These totems are perfectly suitable as stand. Within the audiovisual industry most regular stands are tripods. This tripods can be annoying to place somewhere. You can trip over them and you need space for the legs. The pipe & drape stand is the perfect alternative for this. With the use of a baseplate and vertical upright you can create a stand that is adjustable. We have version that go up to 250cm and up to 420 cm. The result is a nice representative stand.

Mounting Equipment T-Bar

Pipe & drape uprights have a 4-way connector on top. This is normally used to connect up to 4 drape supports to the upright. However this same connection can als be used to mount equipment. By connecting a special spigot adapter to the equipment element, it becomes connectable with the pipe & drape upright. Looking to connect more than two pieces of equipment to one upright? Then this T-bar becomes essential. The T-bar gives you a wider working surface and you will be able to mount a piece of equipment on either side of the stand. This can be on top of the T-bar or below it. Please bear in mind not to overload the stand. Any weight beyond it's load capacity will result in the upright shifting down.
