Stage Ramp 20 cm
Are you organizing an event where a speaker is in a wheelchair? Even the smallest elevations can pose a challenge- this is even the case with a 20cm high stage. Do you have just one single speaker in a wheelchair? You could choose to lift them on and off the stage. However, this isn’t the most attractive option. If you want the event to appear professional and elegant, you should make use of a special ramp- a sloping surface which is used to enter stage easily and seamlessly.
Ramp Dimensions
This ramp can be connected to the stage anywhere; it’s extremely flexible in use. However, you’ll need quite a bit of space to place it. This ramp has a length of 245 cm and a width of 100 cm. Since it rises to a height of just 20 cm, the slope is only 5 degrees. This makes it easy to use and it doesn't take much effort to roll a wheelchair up it.
This ramp is usually mounted on the left or right side of the stage. The room in which the stage is placed must have enough extra space to connect this 245 cm long ramp. Please keep in mind that you also have to have a bit of extra space at the bottom of the ramp, otherwise people won’t be able to use it. You can also choose to set up the ramp behind the stage. That way you won’t need that much space to the sides of the stage.
Finishing
This ramp comes with a whole package of materials which can be used to make it look more attractive. This makes this ramp suitable even for business events. The front of the ramp can be fitted with a skirt, which conceals the construction from your audience’s view. The top can be finished with the supplied carpet tiles. Make sure that these are properly fixed with double-sided tape. You wouldn’t want the carpet to slide off the ramp during use!
