Strobe 1800 Watts

The Geni 1800 F is a powerfull strobe with a flash capacity of 1800 watts. This flash capacity makes this strobe the perfect light fixture for clubs, dancehalls and festivals. The strobe can of course also be used at smaller parties at event locations or at home.  This strobe can function on stand alone mode or can be controlled via DMX protocol.

Optical illusion

A strobe is often used in the dancescene at either a dance party or afterparty. The bright white flashes bring a boost to all climaxes in the music. The fast flashes of light generate an optical illusion so that it seems that a person is either standing still or moves in slowmotion, whereas he or she is actually dancing.

Perfect Shot

Next to the event industry, strobes like the Geni 1800F can also be used for photographic applications. For example, you can light up a falling drop of water and create a floating effect. Applying the right timing of the flashes, it's possible to create an effect where the falling drop of water appears to go against gravity. This and other effect can deliver stunning images.

Risks

The short and bright bursts of light aren't completely without risks. A strobe effect can induce epileptic seizures or can create a disorienting feeling. We recommend to take above-mentioned into account when renting this product.

Tips

Wattage/Energy Usage

The strobe light only uses energy when it flashes. However, when it is on, the strobe uses 1800 watts of electricity. We highly recommend setting up the strobe light to its own current group. This prevents other apparatuses from malfunctioning should something go wrong with the strobe light.

Epilepsy

Strobe lights, regardless of their power or wattage, can cause onset of epileptic seizures. We advise not using this light effect around people with a history of epilepsy.
