TV Set – 150 People
It’s often a hassle finding a way to set up a projector and projection screen. Shadows on the projection screen or having the projector in the middle of the room is far from ideal. Simply placing two large 75" TV screens will relieve you of all these disadvantages at once. This TV set is suitable for groups of up to about 150 people.
This 150 person limit is based on presentations in which many videos and graphics are going to be shown. If you are organizing a more technical workshop with a lot of spec sheets, detailed figures and graphs, we recommend scaling back the size of your audience or adding more
75" screens to your order.
What's in this TV set?
Basically, this TV set consists of two 75" TV screens on a chic stand. The height of the screens can be adjusted substantially, so you can determine the ideal height for your audience in every situation.
In order for both screens to display the same content, they will be provided with signal via an HDMI splitter. This splitter can be connected to your laptop with an HDMI cable, just like you would do with a single screen. The splitter then distributes the signal to both screens.
We advise double checking whether your laptop has an HDMI connection. You’ll need one to connect to the TV screens. Don’t have one? Don't worry. In many situations we can convert the signal using a special adapter. If that turns out to be impossible, you can rent a laptop from us.
Have you also considered whether you will need audio support? Because you’ll be using a splitter, the audio is no longer transmitted via the HDMI cabling. That means it also won’t be played on the TV screens. If there are videos with audio in your presentation, you’ll need to add an
external sound system. You’ll need one anyway for groups of 150 people, as the screens’ built-in speakers simply won’t be powerful enough for such a large group.
Screen Dimensions
Dimensions of TV screens are usually measured in inches. However, we rarely use inches in the Netherlands. This makes estimating the dimensions of screens pretty difficult. These screens have an image diagonal of no less than 191 cm. This distance is measured from bottom left to top right corner. This is a very large screen and is rarely encountered in a 'normal' situation. The dimensions come close to the smallest projection screen in our range.
TV Set Assembly
Because of the fragility of these screens, we always recommend letting us take care of assembly and disassembly. You can then be sure that these screens are set up safely and correctly. You also don’t want to have to worry about the risk of damage during assembly and disassembly. This means less stress when organising your workshop. It’s as simple as that.
Accessories
This workshop set includes all the basics, but have you also thought of any frequently needed accessories such as a
presentation clicker or a
countdown timer for the speaker?
